Firepro Returns is the latest game from Spike in the long-running Fire Pro Series. The name is derived from the fact that this is the return of the series when Spike had said that Firepro Z was the last game in the series. The fans spoke out and Spike listened. They re-designed much of the game, included more of everything and produced the best Firepro Game to Date.

In July of 2007, Mark Johnson of Agetec announced that the company had acquired the rights to Firepro Returns for North America and Europe releases. The game was released in November of 2007 in North American and February of 2008 in Europe. Mark states that it is a Translation of the game by Spike and that further enhancements and game changes are currently being discussed with the developers at Spike.
